REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY Effective Date: 16 September 2026 Anand Seva Sansthan is a non-profit social welfare organisation. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which donation refunds or cancellations may be considered. 1. GENERAL POLICY All donations made to Anand Seva Sansthan are voluntary contributions intended to support the Organisation's charitable activities. As a general principle, donations are non-refundable once processed, as the funds are deployed towards ongoing welfare programmes. 2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND A refund may be considered in the following circumstances: - Duplicate payment: The same donation amount was debited more than once due to a technical error. - Payment gateway failure: A transaction was debited but the donation was not recorded or acknowledged. - Erroneous amount: A significantly incorrect amount was charged due to a technical or gateway error. 3. REFUND REQUEST PROCEDURE To request a refund, please contact us within 7 (seven) days of the transaction date: - Email: [email protected] - Phone: +91 8009171743 - Subject line: Donation Refund Request - Your Name - Transaction Date Your request must include: - Full name as provided during donation - Date of transaction - Amount donated - Payment reference number / transaction ID - Bank account or UPI details to which the refund should be credited (if applicable) 4. PROCESSING TIME All refund requests will be reviewed within 7 business days of receipt. If approved: - Refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible. - Processing time depends on the payment gateway partner (typically 5-10 business days after approval). - The Organisation shall not be liable for delays caused by the payment gateway or banking system. 5. TAX RECEIPT REVERSAL If a refund is issued for a donation for which an 80G tax exemption receipt was provided, the receipt will be deemed cancelled. The donor must not claim a tax deduction for the refunded amount. 6. CANCELLATION OF RECURRING DONATIONS If you have set up a recurring donation mandate, you may cancel it at any time by: - Contacting us at [email protected], or - Cancelling the mandate directly through your bank or payment gateway. Cancellations will take effect from the next scheduled donation cycle. Amounts already processed prior to cancellation are non-refundable unless they meet the eligibility criteria in Section 2. 7. GOVERNING LAW This policy is governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
